2ndNature, a Syracuse-NY-based interactive design studio, has announced the launch of Galsonlabs.com, the official site of Galson Laboratories. The site expresses their corporate brand image and consists of a number of improvements and functional enhancements that expand the visiting experience, user-interface and resources, content manageability, and overall reliability of the site. 2ndNature provided Galson Laboratories, with Website Redesign & Development, Web Application Design & Development, Social Media deployment, and on-going website maintenance and press release design and distribution services.
Galson Laboratories uses a very advanced laboratory information management system (LIMS), based on the Oracle infrastructure, which provides customers and management with comprehensive lab management tools and 2ndNature provided database technologies for integrating the online customer experience with fully-secured customer account services and data-sharing in the “back-office”.
2ndNature designed and developed the previous Galson Laboratories website in 2004 and have maintained the site since. Strategy planning for the new site started in early 2010 and involved all Galson and 2ndNature management team input, brain-storming and collaboration in order to determine the most effective approach and deployment methods and utilizing the most innovative and successful web technologies available today.
The motivating factors behind the redesign initiative was to provide a more dynamic and visually compelling site that presents a fresh and current look for Galson Laboratories who has expanded their business into a global corporation with offices throughout the world. Galson Laboratories’ (www.galsonlabs.com) major advances included a new online Sampling & Analysis Guide along with online equipment rental, online storefront, and updated training video wall. A “mobile” site was also developed that provides a scaled down interface for mobile devices.

Sampling and Analysis Guide Management Tool-registered users will be able to publish the most current version of the guide as a PDF document specifically suited for their needs.

Mobile Site - the mobile site contains select highlights that may be of particular relevance to the mobile user, such as company profile and contact info, staff directory, and instructional video gallery.
