2ndNature, an interactive design studio has recently launched a website for SyracuseFirst, an organization focused on bringing attention to the local economy. In an effort to provide design and development expertise, 2ndNature has established a platform for SyracuseFirst to market its message to the community.

“As a life-long resident of Syracuse, I was thrilled to meet and discuss the “think local, be local” concept with Chris Fowler, Executive Director,” says Joel Fairbank, 2ndNature Studio Director. “I believe strongly not only in Syracuse as a wonderful community but also in the concept of supporting my fellow local entrepreneurs, artists, craftsmen, agricultural producers, and others as a means of economic growth and security. Our interactive design studio has helped in similar ways the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra and their website and currently the Everson Museum website, in order to help Syracuse businesses look good online. We put great effort into the Syracuse First website and created a foundation upon which to grow and expand the support for this valuable organization in our community.”

2ndNature utilized its creative capabilities to design a user-friendly site to help establish the organization’s online presence. The website substantiates SyracuseFirst as a professional organization, while serving as a resource tool that provides pertinent information for the community. Visitors of the site can also reach Syracuse First through its three social media links, and learn about local events involving SyracuseFirst. The website incorporates news updates and ultimately allows visitors to make a donation to SyracuseFirst.

During spring of 2009, 2ndNature designed a logo and several print collateral pieces for Chris Fowler, SyracuseFirst Executive Director to launch his organization and spread the message to “think local, buy local, be local.” With over 100 members, SyracuseFirst continues to enrich the community about the benefits of buying local through the launch of the new website.

2ndNature encourages the community to join the SyracuseFirst network by making a donation to the local movement on the website. 2ndNature has been a part of SyracuseFirst since the beginning, and will continue to advise further brand development of the organization.
